Hey everyone. As usual it's been a while since I have posted a new build. And as usual this one is not done yet, but it is much farther along than these photos show. I started this one way back in 2007 (yes it takes me that long to get anything done!) I have everything primered and ready for paint. I just need a day with good weather, as I traditionally paint in my driveway on top of my trash can. I am trying something new and using nail polish for the paint. The color will be "Ivy League" green with gold pearl.
The body is an AMT '32 Ford roadster and the chassis is a Z'ed Revell '29 ford (from the 3-in 1 pickup kit). The engine is a smash of Hemi parts from several kits, with some resin cast and machines aluminum parts thrown in. The rear wheel / tires are from the L'il Coffin kit and the fronts will be cast resin, not the ones shown in the photos. This one is the little sister to my '32 five window, and carries on the theme of lightening holes in the body, chassis and basically all over. So its nick name is "Holy Roadster". I am hoping to get this painted and assembled in time for a show in late August. Wish me luck!
